Disbudding / Debudding

Disbudding and debudding are often used synonymously. It refers to the removing of the very early developing horn base to prevent horn growth.

Indication:
1) To decrease the risk of the animals injuring each other and to stock holders,
2) Easy and safe restraint of the animals and
3) Aesthetic purposes for show animals.
